Tailored Design
Custom AdapTive Envelope SysTems designed around your architecture, program, and finish vision.
From schematic layouts to full fabrication release, every project follows a precise creative-to-build process — ensuring each detail fits your site, style, and comforT goals.
How the Tailored Design Path Works
Custom, site-specific integration from concept to commissioning. Clear milestones, documented deliverables, and predictable billing.
1) Consultation & Site Capture
Stakeholder call, program brief, constraints, and opportunity mapping. We collect photos, dimensions, and context to anchor concept work.

Deliverables: scope outline, inspiration references, preliminary feasibility notes.

2) Concept & Engineering (10%)
Schematic layouts with selected roof/enclosure SysTems, value-engineered to span limits and sightlines.

Deliverables: plan/sections, finish palette direction, ROM pricing, milestone schedule.

3) Approvals & Fabrication Release (40%)
Final selections, shop-drawing set, and production slot assignment. Materials are procured; lead time starts.

Deliverables: approved shops, hardware schedules, install coordination checklist.

4) Shipment, Delivery & Commissioning (50%)
Crating, freight, and onsite scope. We set, program, and test automation: open, partial, and sealed modes.

Deliverables: O&M guide, control presets, handoff walkthrough.

Working across multiple areas? We can stagger releases by zone to open spaces sooner and balance cash flow.
Milestones & Deliverables
What to expect at each step of a Tailored Design project—clear milestones, documented deliverables, and a predictable 10 / 40 / 50 billing ladder that moves you from vision to push-button ComforT.

Why Two Paths Work
We offer both Tailored Design and Fabrication Ready to match how teams think and build. Some projects need deep architectural integration; others need speed with minimal friction. Either way, every system delivers the same principle: Adaptive Comfort by Design.
Right Path, Right Pace
Tailored Design supports creative exploration and coordination. Fabrication Ready prioritizes speed to site with proven configurations.
Shared Quality
Both paths use the same engineered components, finishes, and controls—with identical performance standards and warranty support.
Predictable Results
Clear milestones and payments align with deliverables—protecting budgets and timelines from concept to commissioning.
Scalable Integration
From a single cabana to multi-zone resort programs, the system scales cleanly—attached or freestanding, open air or glazed.
Not sure which path fits your goals? Explore both or connect with our team to discuss your project.
From Vision to Installation
Both paths enter the same disciplined process—concept, engineering, fabrication, and commissioning.

Tailored Design begins with creative integration; Fabrication Ready begins with proven models.
The outcome is identical: an AdapTive Envelope built for precision and push-button ComforT.

Quick answers about scope, schedule, approvals, and coordination for custom, site-specific projects.
What’s included in the 10% Concept & Engineering phase?
Schematic layouts and value-engineered options for spans, drainage, and sightlines; finish direction; ROM pricing; and a milestone schedule. These deliverables are used to align the team before shop drawings.
When does the 40% Fabrication Release occur?
After approvals on layouts, finishes, and hardware packages, we issue shop drawings and assign a production slot. Materials are procured and your lead time begins.
How long until shipment?
Typical shipment is 10–12 weeks after final approvals. Multi-zone programs can be staggered so priority areas open earlier.
Do you coordinate with architects and contractors?
Yes. We provide shop sets, hardware schedules, and install coordination checklists and will align with your architect/GC for structure, utilities, drainage, and finishes. Project architects/engineers remain responsible for permitting and code compliance.
What happens at commissioning?
We set and test open/partial/sealed presets, verify drainage and controls, and conduct a handoff walkthrough with O&M documentation, care references, and service contacts.
