Why You’re Seeing a “Discount Code”

Our checkout system currently uses a discount code to support split payments.
This code does not reduce the total project cost — it simply enables us to divide your payment into two secure transactions.

The displayed message (e.g., “50% discount”) is a technical workaround only and should not be interpreted as a price reduction.
All pricing, terms, and totals remain exactly as stated in your project quote or proposal.

How Split Payment Works

  1. Deposit Payment (50%)

    • Your first payment — processed during checkout using the code we provide — represents 50% of the total project cost.

    • This payment secures production, scheduling, and material allocation.

  2. Final Payment (50% + Tariff)

    • The remaining 50% balance plus applicable tariffs is invoiced once your order clears U.S. customs and is ready for delivery.

    • Tariffs are charged based on actual import duty rates in effect at the time of clearance.

  3. Tariff Transparency

    • Tariff amounts are not retained by our company; they are paid directly to the appropriate customs or brokerage entity.

    • A full customs receipt or clearance document can be provided upon request.

Waiver Form & Code Authorization

Before you receive a code for split payment:

  • You’ll be asked to sign a brief Split Payment Waiver Form, acknowledging the structure and confirming that the “discount” code represents a billing division only.

  • Once received, we will provide your authorized discount code for checkout.

  • Using this code confirms your agreement to the terms below.

Important Notes

  • The “discount” code is for split payment authorization only.

  • The final cost remains unchanged from your approved quote.

  • Tariff amounts will vary depending on current import rates and are billed separately after clearance.

  • No production or shipment will occur until the deposit is received.

  • Split payments are available only for approved projects and verified clients.

Example Scenario

  • Project Quote: $42,000 (before tariffs)

  • You use code SPLIT50 at checkout → charged $21,000 (50%)

  • Once shipment clears customs:

    • Remaining $21,000 balance + confirmed tariff cost is invoiced

    • Total project cost = $42,000 + tariff (as per your quote)

Acknowledgement of Second Payment Obligation

I understand that the code provided for checkout is used only to authorize a split payment and does not represent a discount or price reduction.
By submitting this form, I acknowledge that a second payment of the remaining 50% of the project total, plus any applicable tariff charges, will be due upon customs clearance or delivery release.

I agree that the total project cost remains as stated in my approved quotation, and I authorize Adaptive Envelope (or its affiliated entities) to invoice the remaining balance in accordance with these terms.
